Becoming one of the most popular places to grab a quick bite to eat, Whole Foods Market, new to the Reno market, brings area family-dining, cooking classes, and a variety of speciality fresh, natural, and organic foods to the Truckee Meadows.

Whole Foods is an upscale food market that additionally features a Sierra Grill - walk-up burger bar, deli, cheese, and salad bar. An Artisan-styled European bakery yields tempting varieties of baked breads that include cranberry walnut, sourdough, four-cheese, and buttery challah. And a Trail Mix bar is available to create custom blends of nuts, grains and sweet treats.

Open through October 25, the Farmers' Market in partnership with the Nevada Certified Farmers Market Association, will be held every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the store parking lot. Functioning as an extension of the store's shelves, the market features produce from Nevada farmers' including the state's prized “Heart of Gold” cantaloupes by Lattin Farms, and unique varieties of greens, summer squash, pumpkins and potatoes by Home Grown Nevada.

The center offers cooking demonstrations, a professional cooking class series, and educational lectures on a range of food and health-related topics. Class Schedules are posted inside the store.
